Earthy Andy – Review
At Earthy Andy, you’ll meet Andrea, who helped heal herself by attempting and succeeding with a raw til 4 plant-based diet after her chronic health conditions continued to flare and perplex her doctors.
Andrea has lived on Oahu since the age of 16, is now married with two children, and has been happily high carb, low fat vegan for over four months.
Most ironically, Andrea’s family owns a chain of burger restaurants, but she continues to thrive with her plant-based lifestyle.
She began documenting this journey on her Instagram @earthyandy and continues the momentum on this website, Earthy Andy dot com.
The landing page of the Clean Food Dirty Girl website provides links to Andrea’s story in detail as well as her philosophy, recipes, recipe videos, details on plant-based living, information on travel to Hawaii, as well as her blog.
In Andrea’s recipe section, she provides examples of what she eats in a day, as well as a sample shopping list.
Andy’s recipes are limited, as the website is new, but her smoothie and smoothie bowl photographs are truly gorgeous, and the recipes sound delicious.
She also provides a rawnola (raw granola) recipe, as well as several meal and snack recipes.
In her section on Plant-Based living, Andrea explains what High Carb Low Fat Vegan (HCLFV) means, how to get started, and whether or not to go gluten free as well.
Andy’s personal blog details her travels to places including Dubai, Tahiti, and Europe, as well as tips for healthy kids, beauty and sun care, with a few recipes and other tips thrown in for good measure.
The Hawaii travel section is quite extensive, as Andrea has been on Hawaii since the age of 16. Here you’ll find information on where to stay, what to do, and what to eat.
Earthy Andy is a website and Instagram account that is just getting started but has quite a bit to offer and this will only continue to improve as the site ages and Andrea gains more and more experience with her HCLFV lifestyle and builds her recipe repertoire.
